ASTM B637 bolts belong to precipitation strengthened nickel based high-temperature alloys.
ASTM B637 bolts have good comprehensive performance in the temperature range of -253 to 700 ℃, with the yield strength below 650 ℃ ranking first among deformed high-temperature alloys. They also have good fatigue resistance, radiation resistance, oxidation resistance, corrosion resistance, as well as good processing and welding performance. Capable of manufacturing various complex shaped components, it has been widely used in aerospace, nuclear energy, petroleum industry, and extrusion molds within the aforementioned temperature range.

ASTM B637 Bolt Process Performance and Requirements:
1. Due to the high niobium content in ASTM B637 bolts, the degree of niobium segregation in the alloy is directly related to the gold treatment process.
2. To avoid excessive element segregation in the steel ingot, the diameter of the steel ingot used is not greater than 508mm.
3. The alloy that has undergone homogenization treatment has good thermal processing performance, and the heating temperature for opening the steel ingot should not exceed 1120 ℃.
4. The average grain size of the alloy is closely related to the degree of deformation and final forging temperature of the forging.
5. Alloys have satisfactory welding performance and can be welded using methods such as argon arc welding, electron beam welding, seam welding, and spot welding.
6. Different solid solution treatment and aging treatment processes of alloys will result in different material properties. Due to the low diffusion rate of the "γ" phase, ASTM B637 bolts can achieve optimal mechanical properties through long-term aging treatment.
