UNS N10276 is a solid solution material, reinforced nickel molybdenum chromium alloy with a small amount of tungsten. UNS N10276 alloy cannot be hardened by heat treatment, but can be hardened by various cold working methods.

UNS N10276 is a nickel chromium molybdenum alloy containing tungsten, with extremely low silicon carbon content, and is considered a versatile corrosion-resistant alloy. This alloy has the following characteristics:
① It has excellent corrosion resistance to most corrosive media in both oxidizing and reducing atmospheres.
② Has excellent resistance to pitting corrosion, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion. The higher content of molybdenum and chromium makes the alloy resistant to chloride ion corrosion, while tungsten further enhances its corrosion resistance. Meanwhile, UNS N10276 is one of the few materials that are resistant to the corrosion of humid chlorine gas, hypochlorite, and chlorine dioxide solutions, and has significant corrosion resistance to high concentration chloride solutions such as ferric chloride and copper chloride. Suitable for sulfuric acid solutions of various concentrations, it is one of the few materials that can be applied to hot concentrated sulfuric acid solutions.
Application areas of UNS N10276 screws:
It has been widely used in the chemical and petrochemical fields, such as in components and catalytic systems that come into contact with organic compounds containing chlorides. This material is particularly suitable for use in high temperature, inorganic and organic acids mixed with impurities (such as formic acid and acetic acid), and seawater corrosive environments.
