N08811 (0Cr21Ni32AlTi/1.4959) bolt is a medium carbon alloy with carbon content between 0.03~0.06. It has the characteristics of coarse grain and high creep strength, as well as good mechanical and corrosion resistance. It is generally used for components such as superheaters and reheaters in 350-600 degrees Celsius, and is also suitable for 750 degree gas cooled reactor heat exchangers.

Corrosion resistance of N08811 (0Cr21Ni32AlTi/1.4959) bolt:


The alloy has good resistance to HNO3, organic acids, oxidation except halogen salts, and corrosion from non oxidizing salts. Especially resistant to high temperature corrosion, it has good resistance to carburization. The alloy will experience intergranular corrosion when heated between 593-816, and has good resistance to stress corrosion. However, long-term aging at 650 degrees may significantly reduce the stress corrosion sensitivity of the alloy. The stress resistance in NaOH and NACL depends on the concentration and level.


N08811 (0Cr21Ni32AlTi/1.4959) bolt processing and welding:


The hot processing performance is good, with a hot processing temperature of 900-1200 and a hot bending forming temperature of 1000-1150 degrees. Shanghai Yuanding reminds that in order to reduce the intergranular corrosion tendency of the alloy, it should pass through the 540-760 degree sensitization zone as quickly as possible. Intermediate softening annealing is required during cold processing. The heat treatment temperature is between 920~980. The solid solution temperature is between 1150~1205. The welding performance is good using conventional welding methods.

It is used in the power industry for pressure water reactor evaporators, high-temperature gas cooled reactors, sodium cooled fast reactor heat exchangers, and superheated steam pipes. Used in the chemical industry for HNO3 coolers, acetic anhydride cracking tubes, and various heat exchange equipment.
