Precipitation hardening steel grade with added copper. Used for manufacturing shaft and turbine components.
Precipitation hardened martensitic stainless steel composed of copper, niobium/niobium has a low carbon content, better corrosion resistance and weldability than general martensitic stainless steel. Similar to 18-8 stainless steel, it has a simple heat treatment process and good machinability, but it is difficult to meet the requirements of deep cold processing.
