This alloy has high-quality corrosion resistance in terms of sodium hydroxide and fluorine valence, and also has good corrosion resistance to hot concentrated caustic soda solutions. In addition, it is also resistant to erosion from neutral solutions, water, the sea, and organic compounds in the atmosphere. A key characteristic of this alloy is that it generally does not produce intergranular corrosion cracks and has excellent cutting performance.

Monel K500 alloy not only has excellent mechanical properties such as strength, corrosion resistance, and non-magnetic properties, but also has the same corrosion resistance as Monel 400. Can be used as a pump shaft material, mainly for operations in harsh geological mining environments with high sulfur and high wax oil layers. The alloy does not have a brittle transition temperature, making it highly suitable for various ultra-low temperature equipment. This alloy is mainly used for pump shafts and valve stems, conveyor scrapers, oil well drilling rings, elastic components, valve gaskets, etc. Used in the petroleum industry, chemical industry, shipbuilding industry, pharmaceutical industry, etc. The chemical composition of this alloy is generally the same as that of Monel 400, with the major difference being the presence of 2.3-3.15% A1 and 0.30-1.00% Ti.
