Actually, we all know that the corrosion resistance of A4-70 bolts is basically the same as that of 316 series bolts. But A4-70 is the expression of fasteners, while 316 is the material.
Generally speaking, A4-70 can be manufactured using the following materials: 00Cr17Ni14Mo2, 00Cr17Ni12Mo2, 00Cr17Ni13Mo2N
These materials have similar corrosion resistance to 316.
The meaning of A2-70 bolt is:
A represents austenitic stainless steel;
2 represents 304 material;
70 represents that the tensile strength of standard components shall not be less than 700;
The meaning of A4-70 bolt is:
A represents austenitic stainless steel;
4 represents SUS316;
70 represents that the tensile strength of standard components shall not be less than 700;
A2-70 bolts, A4-80 bolts and other performance markings refer to fasteners made of austenitic stainless steel materials. Due to the wide variety of austenitic stainless steel materials, each name does not represent a steel grade, but a type of steel grade.
The performance label consists of two parts: material group and performance level:
The first part code (before "-") represents the material group;
The second part of the number (after "-") represents the performance level of the product, which is 1/10 of the nominal tensile strength (σ b, N/mm * mm).
The material groups are divided into three categories: A, C, and F; Class A represents austenitic steels A1 to A5; Please refer to GB3098.6-2000 for details.
